Citrone - Lemonade; Pink Grapefruit

ah, my chest swells with pride - this one’s manufactured in Romania. let’s see if it’s any good.

taste profile: the smell of lemon is very strong from the get go, but it is complemented by something with more colour to it. it’s likely the grapefruit. the first impression is very pleasant indeed. it is lemonade, but the grapefruit makes it stand out. it’s a well balanced, well rounded grapefruit and lemon flavour, reasonably sweetened and full. in fact, it works really well - the authentic and naturally complex grapefruit flavour is given an edge by the lemon (which becomes particularly obvious in the aftertaste); the bitterness of the grapefruit too is beautifully rounded off by the sweetness. the flavour comes in waves upon waves of complex taste and i am really enjoying the freshness of the whole. unlike other drinks, this one makes you crave more with every sip.

rating: 7.5/10 this is great. i would be able to recommend this to anyone. it is perhaps slightly sweeter than i would have expected, but this is likely just meant to be served with ice. otherwise, the complex flavours and good balance generate a very pleasant experience.
