Fentiman’s Lemon Shandy

taste profile: beer+lemon curd. complex. starts with the lemon, almost (slightly bitter) lemon rind, over which the beer quickly prevails. becomes a chunky mouthful: yeasty, beer-like, consistent. the aftertaste is heavy with beer, the unpleasant parts of which are cancelled out by the lemon. 

rating: 8/10. best served extra-chilled. a complex, hearty drink, excellent for a hot day, but sufficiently flexible for any other.
